that screen is included? I guess in that case it's an okish deal - just don't expect to play crysis maxed out.

Crysis is a spec whore no matter how fast your PC is. I highly suggest you completely forego buying any brand name hunk of junk, because
1) you are paying twice what it is actually worth for the machine 2) HP is notorious for breaking down the day after the 1 year manufacturer's warranty ( I had an HP desktop in 1999 - the power supply blew out I swear a year to the day after I bought it - cost me $184 for a power supply that isn't worth more than $25 in any wholesale store, plus it took me 6 weeks to track down a dealership in the country that even supplies that component, it was all the way across the continent, I pre-paid shipping and for the power supply and it still took them 11 weeks to send it to me - translation-you will pay top dollar for dime store crap if you buy an HP and God help you if anything breaks down.) 3) find a friend that knows how to build computers, buy the components yourself on their advice, have them build it and buy pizza and beer and they should be happy. My computer is worth about $2500 retail, without the monitor and I spent about $1200 on the parts and built it myself. Screw the middleman we are all getting ripped off blind all day every day and I gurantee if you buy a HP off the shelf it will have the lowest specs available for that unit, an on board video card that while OK, compared to what you need/want it is still crap, minimal RAM, a dinky little HD, on and on... buy the parts, build it yourself/have a friend build it, or basically you you get what you pay for- junk |
